Heat Pumps

There are many applications for and different types of heat pumps.

Some take their heat from the ground and transfer it into the water of a dwelling to provide domestic hot water and heating.

Other heat pumps take the heat from the air and can be surprisingly efficient. Depending on the application a heat pump can cost only about 25% of the running costs of a traditional system.

Heat pumps can be used to heat water in factories and commercial properties. To provide heat in homes and to heat swimming pools.

Some systems are reverse cycle which means that as will as heating in the winter they can cool in the summer.
